The 10th round of Portuguese fixtures begins today with the clash between Belenenses and Pacos Ferreira…
Belenenses vs Pacos Ferreira.
Belenenses host Pacos at the "Azúis do Restelo" hoping to notch up a second straight victory and move higher up the table. In the last round they managed to get a 1-1 draw at the Dragao, as they stood their ground against Porto. They haven’t won in 7 matches but 5 of these games were against the top five teams in the league. There are plenty of concerns for João Carlos Pereira ahead of today’s game, as he will be without skipper Jose Pedro (midfielder), defender Tiago Gomes, defender Andre Pires, defender Devic, forward Yontcha and forward Romario.
Pacos have not won in 4 matches and with just 1 victory in 9 league games deservedly find themselves rooted to the bottom of the table. In their last league outing they lost 0-1 at home to Leiria but they were off-target in their final attempts and didn’t actually play that badly. This was the second consecutive defeat for coach Ulisses Morais, who will be without the services of left back Jorginho, midfielder Zose, midfielder Sousa and forward Leandrinho.
Selection: This is the sort of game you avoid placing a bet on even before you look at the team news, as both teams are unreliable and the even set of odds is pretty fair. ΝΟ ΒΕΤ
