Greetings Bethome punters! The 17th round of Championship fixtures gets underway today between two of the poorest performing clubs in the league. Preston host Hull, who haven’t won in 8 games. Let’s take a look at the team news…
Preston North End Vs HullCity
Preston continue to not take advantage of their home games by throwing away points. They hosted Barnsley in their last outing and opened the scoring with a 4th minute goal through Morgan. But they conceded an equalizer just before the break (44’) and lost the game after conceding just before injury time to slide further down the table (23rd). Today they are without the services of forward King.
Hull earned a courageous away draw against Leeds in their last outing. Despite trailing 1-2 in the 71st minute and playing with 10 men after Bostock was sent off (78th), they still managed to gain a share of the spoils thanks to an own goal from Johnson (82nd). But cause for concern is the fact that they haven’t won in 8 matches. Today they are without the services of defender Seyit and midfielder Fagan.
