Cameroon were a disappointment in the premier, while Denmark did not really surprise us. Both teams lost and today they hope to earn a win to remain in the track towards qualifying to the next round.
Cameroon – Denmark.
As we mentioned above, Cameroon were a let down and seemed to be expecting everything by Eto'o who was in another field, obviously. He should have been substituted in half time, but the coach seems unable to do such a thing. So, with their best player playing his poorest, the team suffered a lot and although they played better than Japan, they received a goal and it was all over. Cameroon only shot the ball 4 times, had 57% of possession, having Webbo trying his best in their defence, since Choupo-Moting played poorly too. Today, i am expecting Eto'o to waking up after all Roger Milla said about him, and the whole team will be forced to play along.
Denmark tried but lost by the better Dutch and the years have gotten the best out of their players. The team seems unable to do anything anymore, while they will have to try their best to attack today and not be as carefull as they tried to be against Holland, where they gave up possession. Tomasson will probably start today and with his experience he will do his best to score. Nevertheless, if the team go to the 2nd half without having score a goal, they will lose, since Cameroon are far better in terms of stamina. Some of their older players will enter the field as a substitution.
Probable line-ups:
Cameroon (4-3-3): Hamidou - M'bia, Bassong, Nkoulou, Assou - Ekotto - A. Song, Makoun, Enoh (Matip) - Emana, Eto’o, Webo
Denmark (4-4-2): Sorensen - Jacobsen, Kjaer, Agger, S. Poulsen - C. Poulsen, Rommedahl, M. Jorgensen, Kahlenberg (Beckmann) - Tomasson, Bendtner
Selection: Cameroon have the support of the fans and i am expecting their team star will do his job. Hamidu could do another serious mistake in the goal, but Cameroon's physique is way better and i expect them to earn the win in the 2nd half. HOME WIN (1).
