Hello Bethome.com punters. Maritimo and Nacional shared the points last night in the Island's derby. Today the 20th round keeps on with 2 clashes being included in our program with Guimaraes hosting Leixoes and Sporing travelling to Olao to face newcomers Olhanense.
Guimaraes vs Leixoes
At Alfonso Henriques, Guimaraes is hosting Leixoes and want to win to stop their series of 4 matches without win. Despite that fact, they keep their hopes in achieving the 4th place in the end, with their difference to Sporting being at 4 points. Last round they drew 0-0 at Naval's home where for yet another time they showed the problems they have in scoring, despite the fact they played better in the game. On March the 20th the elections for the board of directors and this issue takes up the time of most of the people involved in the team. Duglas, Miliazes, Tarzino, Leandro are out while Joao Alves is in.
Fernando Santos's debute is found to be satisfactory since his team managed to keep the 0 in defense after 15 rounds. The atmosphere is great after the 0-0 draw they got against Porto at home, after playing strong with passion, elements they lacked in the past. Their goal today is to manage to steal even 1 point. Laranzeiro is out, Galo and Didi are doubtful.
Selection: Leixoes has proven to be very weak in their away games, and cannot keep the 0 in their defense. Guimaraes finds it hard to score, but they have a great chance today against a weaker opponent to score and remain in a European track. HOME WIN (1).
Olhanense v Sporting Lisbon
At Jose Arcanzo, newcomers Olhanense are facing Sporting, with their goal being to build an undefeated series of games that today will be number 3 in case they make it. They have lost 1 match in their latest 7 plaid, showing they are going through a great form. Last week they got a 1-1 away draw against Academica, in a match they could have won. Sandro, Baiao, Zekinia, Angelo are out while Tentazinia, Anselmo and Duarte make a comeback.
Sporting is going through a slump, with the 6 matches without win being the evidence. For the championship they gave away a 0-0 draw against Pacos while in the Europa League they were quite lucky, leaving Everton's home with the 2-1 loss with Veloso's penalty in the end giving them the goal. Carvalhal will present the best possible starting 11. Mutino, Izmailov, Pongol, Pereira are out while Postiga and Pedro return.
Selection: Pressure rises for Sporting to get a positive result, with the re-match with Everton being close. The newcomers are fighting in every match and are not a bad team. I give the UNDER 2.5 goals the advantage, but i will rise the line to the AWAY WIN (2) with a touch of risk in order to get better payoffs. Under 2
