After last week’s weather interrupted fixture list the 27th round of Jupiler League fixtures gets underway and we all hope every game takes place. The only encounter tonight sees Genk host Lokeren…
Genk vs Lokeren.
Although Genk’s match against Malines was postponed, they are on the up with 3 straight wins. Victories against Club and Standard proved in the best possible manner that they are improving since 2010 began. A title playoff spot is still not out of the question and with two games in hand can still get in there if they do not slip up.
Lokeren picked up an important 2-1 league win over Malines, while their last two matches have been postponed. They haven’t won in the last 6 away games with the exception of the 5-0 win over Mouscron, which may have been important but came against the second choice picks of an already relegated team. On a bright note is that time seems to be in Ferrera’s hands in his attempts to turn the tide. Doll is doubtful.
SELECTION: My selection will focus on the home win on the basis that Genk are in form and Lokeren seem to be going the other way. |
