The favorites did not prove themselves in Portugal yesterday, and as a result Braga as well as Porto hold the chance to take advantage of Benfica's negative result. There are 4 clashes taking place today, so let us take a look at them..

FC Porto vs Vitoria Setubal.

 Porto is facing Setubal in Dragao and want to combine a spectacle with the juice. By winning they reduce their difference with Benfica and re-enter the fight for the title. On Tuesday they achieved a great victory in Madrid against Atletico with 3-0 and qualified to the top 16 in Europe. They achieved a great win for the championship as well, beating Guimaraes 1-4. Maicon might miss the match.
 Setubal stands in the last place right now, since they are the weakest team of the league. In their latest 3 matches they have not scored, while in their away matches they posssess the worst defence of the league having received 16 goals. Last week they lost at home from Sporting with 2-0, having quite a few objections for the ref's performance. Pinto is penalized, Brigues is out while Matos, Andul, Varao and Casmierchak are doubtful.

Selection: I think we will see goals and a nice performance by the champions today and i will go with the OVER 2.5 goals.
 

Braga vs Naval.

 Braga is hosting dangerous Naval and has the chance yet again from Benfica's misstep and reach the top once again. In their last match, with a goal scored in the last minutes of the game, they managed to earn a point in Leixoes's home. At home, they have been undefeated with 6 wins in 6 matches and want more today. Coach Domingos will not be at the bench due to penalty. Madrid is doubtful.
 Naval won Pasos 1-0 last week, a big win for them. The continuous rain, the bad condition of the field and the very few supporters were the troubles in order to get the win against an opponent sharing the same goals, but in the end they were more accurate and got the 3 points. Gomis is penalized as well as Cruz. Tadia is doubtful

Selection: i will go with the ASIAN 1.5 for NADAL around 1.80 since i don't think Braga is in a position to beat fighting teams like their guests.
 

Maritimo vs Rio Ave.

 In Dos Barreiros, Maritimo is hosting Rio Ave with lone purpose to keep their undefeated record of 6 consecutive matches without loss in the championship. Last round they beat Olhanence 2-5, with the newcomers equalizing Maritimo twice, but with 3 goals at the end, the win came for the home team. Kanou Pitbull Miguelito and Olderdam are out.
 In a field with bad condition, they drew against Belenenses with 0-0. They keep having trouble in earning points at home, since their last success there was 3 months ago. Away they are not that bad, they fight for the results and show able to avoid being demoted at the end. Vitor Gomez is out.

Selection: Maritimo's big win last week tells me nothing, since it came too hard. The same goes for the visitors though, so i will not deal with this match. NO BET.

Academica vs Leixoes.

 In Coimbra's stadium, local Academica is hosting Leixoes, in a very important match for both squads, since both stand on a tough spot. The home team lost last week 4-0 by Benfica but have the opportunity today to show how serious they are, to make up for that loss and win against a team which seeks to be saved in the League, like themselves. Richardo, and Amaro are out while Orlando and Fidalgo are doubtful.
 Leixoes got a golden home point last week against Braga 1-1, in a match in which their coach Mota was not at the bench due to penalty. They succeeded a goald after Braga's keeper Eduardo created a blooper, they lost a player on the second half and got equalized during the last minutes of that match. Braga and Tavares are out, while coach Mota returns to the bench.

Selection: No team needs the draw. I am predicting a closed match with very few chances for goal so i will go with the UNDER 2.5 goals.
